Positively interacting with the homeless/at-risk youth teaches our youth about the everyday struggles some of their peers or other youth in the community are faced with. We teach them not to bully because they don’t know what their situation is and to be more understanding and open minded. It helps our youth to be more humbled and appreciative for the opportunities they have and to learn to lend a helping hand.
Homeless/At-Risk Youth Program Description
Our Homeless/At-Risk Youth Program is accomplished by partnering with local nonprofit organizations:
Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth
A nonprofit organization where there mission is to “eliminate homelessness among Nevada’s youth” and provide programs, education and necessities for the struggling youth.
- Feel Good Friday (FGF) – distribute food, clothing and hygiene supplies to homeless/at-risk youth
- Host a drive – create, plan and execute a drive based on items in high demand
- Host an event – create, plan and execute an event or project for the Drop In Center
Boys and Girls Club
A club that offers programs and services in a safe place to learn and grow. Their mission is “to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”
- Field Day – create, plan and execute fun-filled activities that build teamwork and leadership skills
- Host an event/project – create, plan and execute an event or project
Village of Hope

( We would like to expand these projects into Child Haven, St. Judes Ranch, and a program with kids with disabilities)
I would love to get involved.
